Nigerian singer Naira Marley has released a new song ‘As E Dey Go’.

The new song, Naira Marley is using to addresses the serious topic of rape culture in Nigeria, making a clear stance against it.

As the president of his controversial fan base, ‘Marlians’, Naira Marley sings in English, Pidgin and Yoruba says that the new single “aims to show his variety and different side to his music”.

Produced by Rexxie, the new song is a reflection of the 26-year-old singer’s post-Ramadhan after releasing the debut single for the year ‘Aye.’

‘As E Dey Go’ serves a great deal and its release was just a perfect timing to keep clam nerves and give a different perspective to the latest rape happenings in the West Africa country considering how his fellow artists D’Banj and Peruzzi are facing rape accusations.

The two have, however, denied engaging in the acts even as they have also stood firm with fellow artists in saying no to rape.
